Enable Cookies

- Click “Tools”, go to “Options”
- Click “Privacy” in the top panel
- Set "Firefox will:" to “Use custom settings for history”
- Check the box next to "Accept cookies from sites" to enable cookies
- Click “OK”

- Click “Tools”, go to “Options”
- Click “Privacy” in the top panel
- Set "Firefox will:" to “Use custom settings for history”
- Check the box next to "Accept cookies from sites" to enable cookies
- Click “OK”

- Click “Tools”, go to “Options”
- Click “Privacy” in the top panel
- Select the checkbox labeled "Accept cookies from sites"
- Click “OK”

- Click “Tools”, go to “Options”
- Click “Privacy” in the top panel
- Click the “Cookies” tab
- Select the checkbox labeled “Allow sites to set cookies”
- Click “OK”

- Go to the Firefox drop-down menu
- Select “Preferences”
- Click “Privacy”
- Set "Firefox will:" to Use custom settings for history
- Check the box next to "Accept cookies from sites" to enable cookies
- Click “OK”

- Click the wrench icon.
- Select Settings.
- Click Show advanced settings.
- Click Content settings in the "Privacy" section.
- Select Allow local data to be set to allow both first-party and third-party cookies. If you only want to accept first-party cookies, check the box next to "Block all third-party cookies without exception."
Internet Explorer 9
- Click “Tools”, go to “Internet Options”
- Select the “Privacy” tab
- Click “Advanced”
- Select "Override automatic cookie handling" under the "Cookies" section in the Advanced Privacy Settings window.
- Select the "Accept" under "First-party Cookies"
- Select “Always allow session cookies”
- In the “Internet Options” window, click “OK” to exit
Internet Explorer 7 or 8
- Click “Tools”, go to “Internet Options”
- Select the “Privacy” tab
- Click “Advanced”
- Select "Override automatic cookie handling" under the "Cookies" section in the Advanced Privacy Settings window.
- Select the "Accept" under "First-party Cookies"
- Select “Always allow session cookies”
- In the “Internet Options” window, click “OK” to exit
Internet Explorer 6
- Click Start, go to the Control Panel. (Note: with Windows XP Classic View, click the Windows Start button, go to Settings, go to Control Panel)
- Click the “Advanced” button
- Select the option “Override Automatic Cookie Handling”
- Select the “Accept” or “Prompt” option under “First-party Cookies”
- Select the “Accept” or “Prompt” option under “Third-party Cookies.” (Note: if you select the “Prompt” option, you'll be prompted to click “OK” every time a website attempts to send you a cookie.)
- In the “Internet Options” window, click “OK” to exit
Protected Mode
If you use Internet Explorer to search the internet and are experiencing trouble with the Library's website or online resources, please check Internet Explorer's security settings.
Instructions
- Click Tools in the menu bar.
- Select Internet Options.
- Click on the Security tab.
- Make sure the Enable Protected Mode box is not checked.

- Click “Tools”, go to ”Preferences”
- Click “Advanced”
- Click “Cookies”
- Select “Accept Cookies”

- Go to the Safari drop-down menu
