If you already have an iPad or iPhone, please bring it with you to the class, plus your Apple ID and password if you want to be able to download a new app in class.

    Can’t tell your hardware from your software or your mouse from your monitor? Beginners can learn about the parts of computers and the Windows operating system – the basics needed to start using a computer. This class is for those with very limited or no experience with computers. It is not a typing or keyboarding class.

Everyone will be downloading eBooks and eAudiobooks on their smart phones or tablets using the Libby app. Bring your device and your library card with you for a hands-on demonstration of the setup and downloading process.   5. Community Conversation on Race and Racism

    Anthony Hendricks is our presenter from ThePublic Franklin, a nonprofit organization dedicated to anti-racism education and community activism for the local community. He will give an educational presentation about the history of race and racism in our modern context, address some common misconceptions, take questions, and encourage community discussion on these relevant issues. The presentation will be approximately an hour and a half, with half an hour afterward for questions and discussion.

    A limited number of in person attendees will be permitted to allow for social distancing. This event will also be broadcast on Facebook Live for virtual participation. See the library Facebook page for more information on attending virtually at https://www.facebook.com/wcpltn.
