Authors Circle Mid-Tn has scheduled an exciting weekend for June 10 & 11. This is our fourth Franklin Book Festival. It will be at the Williamson County Library on Columbia Avenue. The hours are 10:00 to 5:00 on Saturday and 1:00 to 5:00 on Sunday. We have invited 33 prominent authors who will conduct 11 panel presentations. On the hour we will have a 40-minute panel, with 3 authors, 10 minutes each to discuss their books, their writing, and their experience as an author. This will be followed by 20 minutes of casual informal interaction between authors and guests.
We will be in the large meeting room. There will be tables with book displays around the perimeter of the room, with two or three authors at each table, to discuss, display, sell, and sign their books. In the 20-minute period you can mingle with renowned authors and some of your friends who have written and published a book.
Wewill have seating for approximately 60 guests in front of the panelist table. There will be 7 panels on Saturday and 4 on Sunday. The panels will not be separated by genre as in previous events. Many of our authors write in multiple genre--fiction, nonfiction, poetry, children’s books, anthology, local history, memoir, drama, and in telling their personal stories.
Seating will be limited. There is no charge. You can come and go as you please, and stay as long as you like.
