Williamson County 4-H instructor Jennifer Hartsell Stockdale will lead these girls-only No Limits STEM workshops funded by a grant from Mercedes-Benz USA and Mattel on January 25.
Girls ages 8-12 are encouraged to come engage in hands-on STEM activities commemorating the first female winner of the Grand Prix automobile race, Ewy Rosqvist. Each participant will receive a Matchbox replica of Ewy’s car! #girlshavenolimits Mercedes-Benz
USA and Mattel have teamed up to show children, particularly young girls; they can aspire to be and do anything they desire. There are no limits.
Williamson County 4-H has been selected as a participant of the No Limits project. Through partnership with the Williamson County Library, Williamson County 4-H instructor Jennifer Hartsell Stockdale will lead four No Limits STEM workshops, two of which will be for girls-only.
Session 1 and Session 2 are the same, so please register for ONE session so as many girls as possible can participate. Session 1 runs from 1:00 to 2:30 and Session 2 is from 3:00 to 4:30.
Registration on the Library website is required for each girl attending. Do not add additional participants in the note field as that does not reserve them a seat. Call 615-595-1244 for more information and to ask staff to reserve a seat for you.
Parents must remain in the library during the workshop.
