This month we'll be reading something a little more hopeful. Best of Enemies: Race and Redemption in the New South chronicles the meeting of minds between a civil rights activist and a KKK leader in North Carolina as they worked toward integrating the schools during the 1960s. Published in 2007, it was dramatized in film in 2019. We'll be discussing both the book and the movie adaptation.
