Fire Prevention & Safety Information with Sparky Franklin Fire Department Mascot

Sparky the Firehouse Dog is on loan to us from Franklin Fire Department for the month of October! October 5-8, 2021 is Fire Prevention Week! Stop by the Main Library and say Hi to Sparky and grab some fun FREE Fire Prevention goodies.

 The Franklin Fire Department is hosting a Chalk Art Contest for artists of all ages in honor of the occasion! Enter for a chance to win one of three $100 gift cards, courtesy of Atmos Energy! Pick up your Free chalk  to create outdoor art at home that illustrates the 2021 Fire Prevention Week theme, “Learn the Sounds of Fire Safety!” For ideas/rules visit www.franklintn.gov/FirePreventionWeek.
Take a pic and share it on the City of Franklin’s Facebook page with the hashtag #FranklinFire at City of Franklin, TN - Municipal Government. The entry deadline is 11:59 P.M. Sunday, October 24, 2021. Winners will be announced the following week. FREE sidewalk chalk is available at the Williamson County Public Library while supplies last, also from Atmos Energy.
