Take Charge of Your Diabetes Series

The Williamson County Public Library System is collaborating with our local UT Extension Office to offer Take Charge of Your Diabetes, a 6-week evidence-based self-management course led by trained University of Tennessee Extension Agents, Patsy Watkins from Williamson County and Autumn Vespie from Hickman County. 

The six progressive sessions are designed to provide you with skills and tools to better self-manage life with diabetes. Open to adults of all ages with or without diabetes.  Maybe you are a caregiver, spouse, or family member of a diabetic.   You might have a family history of diabetes and want to know how to prevent it.  All are welcome.

The program is FREE, but registration is required.  Register at


Dates: Thursdays, Nov. 4th, Nov. 11th, Nov. 18th, Dec. 2nd, Dec. 9th, Dec. 16th

Time: 10:00 a.m.  - Noon

Location: Via Zoom. The Zoom link and password will be emailed to you.
