Herman Statum will be speaking about the Vietnam War and his personal experiences in the meeting room on the first floor on Saturday, September 21 at 1 o'clock. Mr. Statum is a combat veteran who served two tours in Vietnam in 1966-67 and 1971-72. He was an Airborne, Ranger and Special Forces officer with a Top Secret security clearance. Mr. Statum’s military service includes 11 years overseas in Vietnam combat units. He is currently a recognized authority on homeland security with four years on the Executive Advisory Board of the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security.
