[ARCHIVED] Readings for Racial Justice

This month we will be discussing The Book of Lost Friends by Lisa Wingate. This historical fiction narrative is an imaginative extrapolation based on real "lost friends" newspaper advertisements published in newspapers in the south after the Civil War as newly freed slaves began searching for loved ones who had been sold away or otherwise separated from them, interspersed with a more modern narrative frame story.

This book club meets online via Zoom. Register for login information.
