Alzheimer’s is often called the long goodbye, and grief begins while a person with dementia is still living. Melissa Burton, LCSW, CMC will share more about the grieving journey, as well as healthy and helpful coping strategies. This program is part of our Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia series. It is designed both for those who are actively caregiving and those whose loved ones have passed.
This program will be presented in person at the Library on August 23 at noon. Contact Kelsey Williams at kewilliams@alz.org or 615-622-4182 with any questions. If you are unable to attend in person, contact Kelsey for other options.
