    September 26, 2023, 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM
    @
    Meeting Room

Ashley Briggs will utilize her 16 years of experience developing programs in memory care communities to demonstrate ways to make a home safe for someone suffering from Alzheimer’s or other dementias. If safety measures are in place, an individual living with Alzheimer’s can remain in the comfort of his or her own home or a caregiver’s residence. As the disease progresses, the person’s abilities will change. Ashley will show how, with some creativity and flexibility, the home can be adapted to support these changes.

Ashley Briggs has a 16-year career in senior living, specializing in memory care communities. She has a passion for developing programming to meet the needs of residents in assisted living settings, educating the community, and helping reduce the stigma around the disease. Like so many, Ashley has faced dementia within her own family and knows what families and caregivers face as they walk this journey with their loved ones.
