  1. Introduction to Word II

    October 24, 2019, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Learning Center

    This class is for people with some experience using word processing software. Participants will learn how to insert clip art, create lists, make columns, format paragraphs, and create tables. This is not a typing or keyboarding class. *Prerequisites: “Introduction to MS Word I” or the equivalent skills. All Library programs are free and open to the public. Call the Library at 615-595-1243 or email if you have questions or want to cancel a registration. Please note that classes with fewer than 5 registered to attend will be canceled.

  2. Dyslexia Awareness Night

    October 24, 2019, 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM @ Meeting Room

    A night for parents, teachers, and community members to learn how to help your children and students with dyslexia and dysgraphia. Dr. Tim Odegard, Director of the MTSU Dyslexia Center, will talk about the common myths versus truths of dyslexia, the scientific understanding of dyslexia, and the benefits of early intervention. There will be a simulation of the dyslexic experience for participants to try. Wesley Nelsen, Boy Scout, will be talking about the social and emotional aspects of dyslexia. This is Mr. Nelsen's Eagle Scout Candidate project.

  1. Preschool Story Time

    Preschool Story Time @ Main 10 a.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, September 4-5, 11-12, 18-19, 25-26. Preschool Story Time is for children ages 3-5 and their caregivers. Come join us for a half hour of stories, puppets, songs, and finger plays. Learn the alphabet, keep rhythm with scarves and shakers and learn a few signs in American Sign Language. We'd love to have you join us!

Nolensville Public Library Calendar

  1. Toddler Time

    October 24, 2019, 10:30 AM - 11:15 AM @ Nolensville Public Library

    Programmed for ages 18 months to 3 years. Includes 15-20 minutes of stories, songs, fingerplays, and puppets followed by play time with the toy box for building social skills. Play time is also the perfect time for parents to get to know other parents.
