    Teen Genealogy Class @ Bethesda Are you interested in learning where your family came from? Have you wanted to learn more about how to find information on you ancestors? If so, join us online for a series of three genealogy classes to improve your knowledge and skills. Classes will be held virtually. Scouts BSA scouts are able to use this class to earn the genealogy merit badge. The class is led by a registered Scouts BSA merit badge councilor and Youth Protection Training standards are maintained during these meetings. Registration is required.

  1. Adult Virtual Trivia Challenge - Holiday Movies

    Have fun with a WCPL Virtual Trivia Challenge game, featuring Holiday Movie Trivia. Engage in a self-paced Kahoot challenge; the first 10 registrants will contend against each other and against the challenge questions. First, register to play, registration ends on December 1, 2020. Then, the Trivia Challenge will last for 2 weeks – starting on 12/03 at 10 AM and ending on 12/17 at 10:00 AM. Once registration is closed on December 1, you will receive an email with a link to the specific game in Kahoot by December 3. You do not need to create an account in Kahoot, you just must open the link on a device (mobile, laptop, or desktop) with a web browser. The Kahoot platform will ask you if you want to set up a nickname for the game or to let the game auto-generate one for you. Rules of the Game: Each question is multiple choice, only one of the four choices will be correct, There are 30 seconds to answer each question, You must click "NEXT" to progress to the next question.

    This month is a doodle-a-day! Come pick up a notebook with drawing prompts for each day in November. Librarian Gracie will be sharing her daily doodles on the Teen Room Instagram (@wcpltnteens). Tag us so we can share yours! Things to note: Kits are limited every month. To claim a kit, registration is required. You can pick it up either in the teen room or through Holds2Go until November 15th. Please specify below which you prefer. After the 15th the kit will be put back into circulation and available to anyone to pick up in the teen room. A limited number of kits are also available on a first come first served basis in the Teen Room.
