Winter Magic Show with Fairview's favorite magician, Bruce Amato.

Read with Lucy Saturday, January 22, 10:30 - 11:30. Kids ages 6-12 are invited to come read with Lucy, a trained therapy dog. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Attendance is limited and registration is required. Please sign up all children in a family who will be reading individually to assure they each have time to interact with Lucy and read. Registration begins January 15. Registered children will be scheduled to read at 10 minute intervals. Please call the children's department, 615-595-1244, following registration to obtain an assigned time.

Kids learn about the 5 senses: kids learn about their perception of light with rainbow glasses; using a plasma ball they stimulate their sense of touch; they learn that sound is caused by vibrations, and they learn about smell and taste as they make their own cotton candy from scratch!
