The Foundation has established a community partnership with the Vanderbilt Monroe Carrell Children’s Hospital at Williamson Medical Center. The Imagination Library Middle Tennessee and Ingram Books donated books through the Foundation to be placed on a cart for patients to have access to during their stay.
The Williamson County Library Foundation recently received a $9,600 grant from the Middle Tennessee Electric (MTE) Membership Corporation through the MTE Customers Care program, which is intended to support projects that benefit communities in their service area.
The first Evening with Storytellers, featured authors Eric Jacobson, Thomas Flagel, and Bryan Lane as they shared their insights, based on years of research, as to why the Battle of Franklin is the Greatest Story of the Civil War.

The library has offered "A Visit with Santa Claus" for four years, and it is a delightful time for young and old alike. There are over 200 children who come with their families to see Santa.
The Williamson County Library Foundation sponsored the first annual Student Art Show, featuring one piece of fourth grade art from almost every elementary school in Williamson County Schools and the Franklin Special School District.
The Summer Reading Program has activities available for teens and adults, but the largest participation is in the children’s department. Prizes are given to children who complete their progress charts by reading books.
The Library's Teen Room has become a social gathering place for teens, as well as a place to study and do research. The Foundation funded the Imagination Station and hopes to add to it in the future.
The Nashville Opera has performed at the library as part of their outreach program for ten years, and the Foundation has provided the funding for the last four years.
The writing workshop for adults, Best Practices for Self-Publishing, was presented by the Foundation. This all day workshop featured published authors and industry professionals who offered ideas and suggestions to help participants make their books stand out.
