What happens if I don't pick up my hold(s)?

Items on hold are held for five (5) days and then have to be moved on to the next person waiting for the item.  If no one is waiting for the item, it will be reshelved and made available for checking out by other patrons.

Call 615-595-1277 if you are having issues getting to the library with your holds. 

There is an option to suspend holds when traveling or due to other circumstances in which it may become available but you are unable to get it.  Log into your library account online and access your holds to exercise this option.
